Henry says top players don't mind missing Springbok Test

The All Blacks head coach Graham Henry says there wasn't much of an argument from key players when they were told they probably wouldn't be going to South Africa for the return Tri Nations rugby Test.

Eight of the 15 who started last Saturday's win over Australia in Auckland are staying at home for the last Test before the World Cup squad is named in Brisbane on August 23rd.

Henry says that gives others returning from long injury breaks a last chance to impress in Port Elizabeth on Sunday week while the stay-at-homes will be on individual programmes.

He says the likes of Richie McCaw, Dan Carter, Brad Thorn and Mils Muiliana are very self-sufficient and will be fine.
