The All Blacks will try to extend a 25 year unbeaten run against Australia in Auckland on Saturday when they play the Wallabies in their last home test before the rugby World Cup.
The rested veteran's Keven Mealamu, Kieran Read and Brad Thorn are expected to be given the nod to start when coach Graham Henry names a near full strength side on Thursday and captain Richie McCaw says the Eden Park record is one the players are well aware of.
Meanwhile the Wallabies name their team this afternoon.
