The Wallabies coaching co-ordinator David Nucifora doesn't expect Australia's blossoming crop of brilliant youngsters to be encumbered by the baggage of history heading into Saturday's Tri-Nations test with the All Blacks at Eden Park.
Much has been made of the Wallabies' losing streak at the ground dating back to 1986, but selector Nucifora, who has been added to the Wallabies coaching staff for the World Cup, says this squad is excited rather than daunted by the task of beating the All Blacks in Auckland.
But he says it is a big match for them in many ways, especially with the World Cup less than six weeks away.
Nucifora says he was impressed by the All Blacks efficiency and intensity in their 40-7 win over the below-strength Springboks last Saturday night in Wellington.
