Tough draw doesn't faze Black Sticks' captain

The New Zealand women's hockey team is on the way to Europe to take on the world's top teams at a new-look Champions Trophy, where the Black Sticks will do well to reach the knockout phase.

For the first time there are eight teams at the annual tournament and New Zealand's in the toughest pool with Australia, Germany and hosts the Netherlands.

Captain Kayla Sharland isn't bothered though as she says the top six or top eight teams are always tough.

She says they can definitely beat Australia and it'll be good to have two practice games against Germany in Berlin before the tournament starts on June 25.
