Halfback Piri Weepu is back in the Hurricanes starting lineup for Saturday's Super Rugby clash with the South African side the Lions in Wellington.
Weepu has come off the bench in their last 2 matches after recovering from a broken leg.
Conrad Smith and Jayden Hayward are bracketed at centre, while the Hawkes Bay three-quarter Richard Buckman could make his debut off the bench.
