The All Black lock Anthony Boric and second-five Luke McAlister return to the Blues side for Friday night's top of the table super rugby clash with the second-placed Queensland Reds in Brisbane.
Both missed the win over the Hurricanes in Wellington with injuries.
Boric's return moves Chris Lowrey from lock to blindside flanker, where Jerome Kaino's being rested because of a hamstring injury.
McAlister's selection means Benson Stanley moves from second-five to centre while Rene Ranger goes back to the left wing from centre and Lachie Munro is benched.
