The former Breakers turned Cairns Taipans guard Phil Jones concedes his Australian side was totally outplayed by the Breakers in game one of Australian national basketball series on the North Shore on Thursday night.
The Breakers won 85-67 to go one-nil up in the best of three series and while Jones sank a series of three pointers to reduce the 31-point lead the Breakers had at one stage, Jones says they'll need to improve dramatically in game two in Cairns on Sunday.
He says they forced them into turnovers which they can't afford to do against a team like the Breakers.
