Wayne Rooney insists he's been hard done by in losing his appeal against a two-match ban imposed by the English FA for swearing into a TV camera.
The Manchester United and England striker will have to sit out United's Premier league match at home this weekend against Fulham, and the FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City next weekend.
Rooney ran to the camera after completing his hat-trick from the penalty spot, and his obscenities were clearly heard by millions of viewers worldwide.
But Manchester United will have his services for nerxt week's Championship league quarter-final decider at home against Chelsea because that game is under the auspices of the European Football Union, rather than the English FA.
