The Australian cricketer Andrew Symonds has injured a shoulder in a fall at a Mumbai hotel bar just days out from his teams opening match in the Indian Premier League.
35-year-old Symonds retired from international cricket in 2009 after a controversial career, but decided to continue playing Twenty20 cricket.
It's unclear if the injury will prevent his participation in the Mumbai Indians' IPL campaign, but his Australian based manager says Symonds still hopes to be fit for their first match next week.
