The man in charge of organising the marathon at next year's London Olympics has revealed he's resigned.
David Bedford, a former 10,000 metres world record holder and organiser of the hugely popular annual London marathon, says he quit the Olympics job in February because his professional organisation found it very difficult working with an organistion which, in the main, had never organised an event of their own.
