Dennis Rodman, the NBA basketballer known as much for his outrageous behaviour as his extraordinary rebounding and defensive skills and five NBA championships, has been voted into Pro Basketball's Hall of Fame.
Rodman's first reaction to the news was that he thought it was a joke, given the antics he pulled during his career, which included wearing a wedding dress to promote his autobiography.
Rodman and five other inductees, including four times Olympic gold medalist Teresa Edwards, will be "enshrined" in August.
