Pulse shooter moves on after miss

The Central Pulse, perennial wooden spooners in the Trans-Tasman netball league, made history last night with a dramatic 63-61 win at home over West Coast Fever, giving them two wins in a season for the first time.

The Pulse goal shoot Caitlin Thwaites compensated for a missed shot that would have the match in normal time with a starring role in double overtime.

The Australian says she go really angry with herself for a minute but knew she coudn't take the anger with her into extra time or she'd beat herself.

She says she had to move on and did so successfully ending up with 46 points.

On Sunday, the Pulse host the runaway leaders Queensland Firebirds who kept their unbeaten record last night with a hard fought 53-49 win over the second placed Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic.
