The out-of-form world tennis number five Andy Murray has sacked his coach of three years, Alex Corretja.
Murray, who's had a miserable start to the United States hardcourt season, had worked with the Spanish former world number two on an ad-hoc basis since 2008, describing him as a great friend and mentor.
Among Murray's shock losses recently, he was beaten in the second round of both the Indian Wells and Sony Ericsson tournaments by American qualifiers.
