Final four set in ANBL

1:09 pm on 27 March 2011

The New Zealand Breakers will play either the Cairns Taipans or the Perth Wildcats in the Australian National Basketball League playoffs.

The final four's been determined after the Taipans scored a 90-87 overtime victory over the Wildcats to eliminate the Wollongong Hawks from contention, while the Townsville Crocodiles clinched second place with an 82-72 road win over the Melbourne Tigers.

The Crocs are now guaranteed to finish second irrespective of results in the 25th and final round next week.

Cairns and Perth will fill third and fourth, but their final order will depend on whether the Taipans can beat archrivals Townsville next Friday night in Cairns.
