Proteas confident ahead of Black Caps clash

The South African cricketers have dismissed their chockers tag and to some extent their opposition heading into the knock-out stage of the World Cup.

Regularly regarded as one of the favourites for the tournament, the Proteas are yet to be crowned World Champions, having made the semi-finals three times.

But they have gone about their business with a solid team performance so far in the competition and take on New Zealand in the quarter-finals on Friday.

Allrounder Faf du Plessis, who only came into the South African squad this season, says confidence is high... especially after beating India in a high pressure game.
