Central Districts hold on the Plunket Shield Cricket competition is slipping after Northern Districts and Otago scored outright wins in the latest round.
Northern chased down 385 on the final day to beat Wellington by 9 wickets in Whangarei, with Brad Wilson and BJ Whatling both scoring big tons.
Otago had earlier beaten Auckland.
So Central, who drew with Canterbury, have 26 points, Northern have 24, Otago 22, Canterbury 17, Wellington 15 and Auckland 2.
