England pip Sth Africa in low-scoring thriller

The England Cricketers produced an amazing comeback to pip South Africa in a low-scring World Cup match in Chennai.

Defending only 171, England's much-maligned bowling attack put in a lion-hearted effort to dismiss the Proteas who'd been cruising along at 82 for 2.

Pace bowler Stuart Broad took 4 for 15, including the last two wickets, to help his side to a morale-boosting victory after England's shattering loss to Ireland, a narrow win over the Netherlands and a dramatic tie with India.

England made a disastrous start to the match as spinner Robin Petersen, opening the bowling for South Africa, took two wickets in the first over of the match, and three wickets for four runs in his opening 4-over spell.
