The Chiefs have got their Super Rugby campaign back on track with a first win in three games, beating newcomers the Melbourne Rebels 38-10 in Hamilton.
Chiefs winger Lelia Masaga scored a brace of tries, his brilliant second giving the Chiefs a bonus point two minutes before the final whistle and coming after a breathtaking run down the wing that started at the Rebels' 22-yard line.
The Chiefs dominated possession and smashed an undisciplined Rebels side at the breakdown, scoring a try in the first half and adding three more in the second on a drizzly night at Waikato Stadium.
It's their first win after two away losses in Canberra and Dunedin in the opening rounds of the expanded competition, and their first at Waikato Stadium since May 2009, when they beat the Hurricanes in a Super 14 semifinal.
In other games, the Queensland Reds won their Australian derby match against the ACT Brumbies, the 31-25 victory the Reds' first ever in Canberra.
The Stormers also beat the Cheetahs 21-15 in Cape Town, while another South African side, the Sharks, thumped the Western Force 39-12 in Perth.
