The New South Wales Waratahs coach has damned Sonny Bill Williams with faint praise after the All Black midfielder's try-scoring Super Rugby debut for the Crusaders on Friday night.
Chris Hickey says Williams was a bit loose with his ball carries and his offloads and the Waratahs coach reckons the second-five probably thought he played pretty well because he scored a try in the 33-18 win to the Crusaders in Nelson.
But Hickey thinks player who did a lot of the damage for the home side was actually Williams' midfield partner at centre, Robbie Fruean.
