Despite winning one of Australia's oldest amateur golf tournaments from a strong international field, New Zealand's Cecilia Cho says she only had one decent round during the tournament.

Cho won the Riversdale Cup in Melbourne yesterday, beating players from Belgium, China, Mexico and New Zealand.

Cho, who's now ranked second in the amateur world rankings won the individual title by four strokes from fellow Aucklander Lydia Ko.

Cho's win was set up when she broke the course record, with her eight under par 65 in the second round.

Cho and Ko won the teams events by an overwhelming 25 strokes.
