The Bay of Plenty Rugby Union has announced a profit for the third consecutive year.
Revenue grew 7 percent on the 2009 year and the Union made an audited profit of just over 51 thousand dollars.
Bay of Plenty Rugby Union CEO Jeremy Curragh says they're pleased with a modest result in difficult trading conditions.
Curragh says their gate revenue was down 43% or 223 thousand dollars this year due to the atrocious weather they experienced for 4 of their 5 home games.
