The Melbourne Rebels first five-eighth Danny Cipriani has been fined one match payment by his Super rugby franchise for his role in a nightclub incident.
Following the team's opening loss to the New South Wales Waratahs just over a week ago, Cipriani allegedly stole a bottle of vodka from a nightclub and was then asked to leave the premises.
The English international is free to play against the Chiefs in Hamilton on Saturday night.
