Veteran bowler saves India from defeat

The Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni says he's happy with his side's thrilling 338-run tie in their World Cup clash in Bangalore and concedes the tournament co-hosts may have been lucky to escape with the draw after the England batsmen faltered at the final hurdle.

India slammed 338 runs with Sachin Tendulkar notching up yet another one-day century, but England appeared to be coasting to victory on the back of captain Andrew Strauss scintillating 158, before veteran paceman Zaheer Khan produced a superb bowling spell to take three quick wickets to revive India's fortunes.

The match then went down to the last ball with England needing two to win but they could only manage a single to tie the match.

Dhoni says Zaheer once again got India out of jail.
