Tiger Woods will drop further down the world rankings when the new list is released next week.

The world number four Graeme McDowell ensured he will move past third-placed Woods when he beat Britain's Ross Fisher in the second round of the World Golf Championship match play tournament in Arizona.

Woods was eliminated by Denmark's Thomas Bjorn in the first round of the tournament and could be overtaken by any other golfer inside the top 10 still competing in the elite 64-man event.
