Keats says calling off game is right decision

The Hurricanes halfback Tyson Keats says the calling off of Saturday's Super Rugby match against the Crusaders is the right decision.

The Crusaders wanted to stay home this weekend to support their families and community following the Christchurch earthquake.

Keats is in his second year with the Hurricanes having spent all of his life in Canterbury and he has family still in Christchurch trying to recover from the devastation.

He says he's personally quite upset by the whole incident and knows how everyone in Christchurch must be feeling....

With no match this weekend and a bye next weekend, Keats is hoping to make a trip to Christchurch to check up on family and friends.
