Options for Crusaders home matches

The head of SANZAR says no decisions beyond this weekend have been made regarding the future of Crusaders matches following this week's earthquake in Christchurch.

The Crusaders have decided not to travel to Wellington this weekend for their Super rugby fixture against the Hurricanes.

Among the 75 confirmed dead in the Christchurch earthquake is a Crusaders board member, and the Crusaders chief executive Hamish Riach said in a statement that everyone involved with the franchise had been affected by the tragedy, and the team wanted to stay home this weekend to support their families and community.

SANZAR have declared the Crusaders-Hurricanes match a draw with each team receiving two points.

The Crusaders are scheduled to play their first home game against New South Wales next weekend, but AMI stadium is yet to be fully inspected.
