The Chiefs coach Ian Foster has made 10 changes including 2 positional to the side that lost to the Brumbies for Friday night's Super Rugby match against the Highlanders in Dunedin.
In the forwards Tony Smith, Hayden Triggs, Isaac Ross and Scott Waldrom all come into the starting 15, while Liam Meesam switches from 6 to 8.
Craig Clarke, Romana Graham and Fritz Lee were ruled out because of injury.
In the backs Tawera Kerr-Barlow replaces Brendan Leonard at halfback, Mike Delany replaces Stephen Donald at first five, while Jackson Willison and Lelia Masaga get a start and Dwayne Sweeney switches from 13 to 12.
Foster says they're keen to build on their second half performance from the 28-20 loss to the Brumbies.
