Injuries rule out two Windies players

The West Indies opener Adrian Barath and wicketkeeper Carlton Baugh have been ruled out of the cricket World Cup due to hamstring injuries.

The WICB, through its team manager, has requested permission from the International Cricket Council's technical committee for the duo to be replaced by batsman Kirk Edwards and wicketkeeper Devon Thomas.

The West Indies are in Group B for tournament with India, South Africa, Bangladesh, England, Ireland and Netherlands.
