The New Zealand runner Kim Smith has won the New Orleans half marathon breaking her own New Zealand record in the process.
It was also the fastest half marathon run by a woman in the United States.
Smith cut 19 seconds off her New Zealand record running one hour seven minutes and 36 seconds to win the event by more than three minutes.
