South Africa win first Sevens title in two years

South Africa have won their first rugby sevens title in two years beating Fiji 24-14 in the final of the Las Vegas leg of the world series.

Fiji beat New Zealand 26-7 in the semi finals to advance to the tournament final.

The South African's dominated possesion throughout the final with playmaker Cecil Africa turning on a commanding performance.

The coach of South Africa Paul Treu says the win will give his side some much needed self confidence.

New Zealand and England still share the overall series lead, with England having lost to winners South Africa in the semi finals.
