The All Blacks lock Brad Thorn hasn't signed to play with French club Clermont after this year's Rugby world cup says his manager.

The French rugby newspaper Midi Olympique has linked Thorn to the French club but Thorn's manager Brett Gamble says no contract has been signed and the 36-year-old double international is still considering his future.

Clermont's coached by former Bay of Plenty coach Vern Cotter.

The club's been on a buying spree in recent weeks, signing Wales fullback Lee Byrne, French fly-half David Skrela, former All Blacks centre Regan King, South African-born flanker Gerhard Vosloo and former French hooker Benjamin Kayser.
