The Melbourne Victory have confirmed their place in football's A-League play-offs after a 2-0 victory over Newcastle.
The Victory are now fourth equal with Gold Coast after they drew nil-all with Adelaide.
There are four teams, including the Wellington Phoenix, fighting for the sixth and final spot.
