Wright opposes rotation policy

9:32 am on 3 February 2011

The New Zealand cricket coach John Wright's questioned the rotation policy being used by the national selectors leading up to the world cup later this month.

The Black Caps play Pakistan in Hamilton today, in the fifth match of the six game series with the tourists two-one up.

Wright along with skipper Vettori are opposed to the policy preferring to play the best possible lineup in the series as the side tries to gain some momentum having won just one game in their last 14.

Wright says he wants to play his top side, which hopefully will get some momentum going.

He says those who miss out will fight for their spot and it will be survival of the fittest.

Play starts at two o'clock.
