The New Zealand women's tennis team has withdrawn from the Fed Cup competition citing a lack of players as Marina Erakovic and Sacha Jones are both apparently injured.
New Zealand was to play in the Asia/Oceania Group I competition in Bangkok, early next month.
New Zealand has played 40 years in Fed Cup.
