Australian cricketers win again

5:57 am on 24 January 2011

The Australian cricketers have made it 3-0 in their one day series against England after a four-wicket victory in Sydney on Sunday night.

England were again guilty of failing to bat out their overs, dismissed for 214 in 48 overs with Jonathon Trott making an unbeaten 84, while Brett Lee took three for 27.

David Hussey made 68 as Australia chased down their victory target with 24 balls to spare, despite their top order failing.

Meanwhile the England pace bowler Tim Bresnan has been ruled out of the rest of the one-day series with a torn calf muscle and will return home for rehabilitation, though he is expected to be fit for next month's World Cup.

The fourth match of the seven-match series is in Adelaide on Wednesday.
