The Pakistan cricket team have been dismissed for 287 before lunch on the final day of the 3-day match in Whangarei handing the New Zealand 11 a first-innings lead of 97 runs.
Resuming at 234 for eight this morning the Pakistan captain Misbah ul-Haq brought up his century after finishing on 99 at stumps on day two, and was unbeaten on 126 when the tourists innings came to a close.
The New Zealand 11 captain Daniel Vettori returned the best bowling figures of 3 for 30 while Chris Martin finished with 3 for 69.
The test-strength New Zealand 11 are likely to use the rest of the day's play as batting practice as both teams prepare for the first test starting in Hamilton on Friday.
