Scottish tennis star Andy Murray's opened his Hopman Cup account in style with a straight sets win over Italy's Potito Starace in Perth on Monday.
World No.4 Murray defeated Starace 7-5 6-1 to send the tie into a live mixed doubles after 2010 French Open winner Francesca Schiavone defeated 16-year-old Laura Robson 7-5 6-3 earlier in the day.
