Willis decides to give altitude training a go

For the first time in his career Olympic 1500m silver medallist Nick Willis has decided to experiment with altitude training as he contemplates his buildup to the London Olympics in 2012.

Willis has begun a five week stint in Alberquerque-New Mexico saying he decided to try it out after speaking to sports scientists, during his recovery from hip and knee operations over the past year and a half.

He says they pointed out he was the only athlete in the past two Olympics to win a distance medal without having done altitude training.....
