Two Boks to face anti-doping tribunal

6:04 am on 14 December 2010

The South African Rugby Union has confirmed that two players sent home from last month's European tour will face an anti-doping tribunal.

The Union says the `B' samples from tests undertaken by winger Bjorn Basson and hooker Chiliboy Ralepelle after the test against Ireland, confirm they took a banned stimulant usually associated with athletics, particularly sprinting.

A tribunal will be set up in the new year after SARU completes its investigation.
