The Manchester United football club are poised to sign Danish goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard in the next two to three weeks, according to manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
The 26-year-old international will join the English Premier League club from Denmark's Aalesund for a fee reported to be around 3.5 million pounds ($NZ 7.25 million).
United have been looking for a long-term replacement for 40-year-old Dutchman Edwin van der Sar.
