IBO cruiserweight boxing champion Danny Green's 29-second knockout of fellow Australian Paul Briggs in July has been ruled a sham contest.
The Western Australian Professional Combat Sports Commission says the challenger, who was downed by a tame looking left jab in the Perth bout, had failed to reveal he had health issues.
Briggs has been ordered to pay the commission 75 thousand dollars of the 200 thousand he collected for the contest.
Champion Green, who is preparing to defend his title against American BJ Flores in Western Australia later this month, was cleared of any wrong-doing by the commission.
The commission also said they had passed on details of a number of unusually high bets on a first round knockout win for Green to local police.
