Black Caps need to be versatile in India

After the humiliation of the Bangladesh whitewash, the New Zealand cricketers have left for what looms as a much tougher tour of India.

First up is a three-Test series starting in Ahmedabad on Thursday.

With India the world's top ranked Test side and coming off a series win over Australia, the New Zealand coach Mark Greatbatch singles out adaptability as a key concern the Black Caps must address if they're to avoid more humiliation.

Greatbatch says the ability to adapt to new conditions and circumstances is crucial to their chances.
