Counties Manukau have a rare chance to make a second attempt in one season on rugby's Ranfurly Shield when they play Canterbury on Saturday afternoon.
The Steelers pushed Southland hard in round three of the provincial championship but the Stags held onto the Shield until last weekend, when Canterbury took it home.
The Steelers seldom win in Christchurch though and coach Milton Haig says with Canterbury finishing the season strongly, his side will be massive underdogs.
But Haig says they like that tag and if there are holes in the Canterbury defence, Counties will make them pay.
