The New Zealand football coach Ricki Herbert believes striker Chris Wood has the potential to become the All Whites' premier goalscorer but concedes the teenager must be more ruthless in front of goal.
Wood scored the All Whites only goal in their 1-1 draw with Honduras in Albany last Saturday and had the best of New Zealand's chances in the 2-0 loss to Paraguay in Wellington on Tuesday.
Herbert says Wood could become one of the greatest ever All Whites forwards but the 18-year-old has a lot to learn.
The All Whites are now looking to secure fixtures in the next international friendly window in March next year.
