The Netherlands also top their group with a perfect three from three, after a 1-0 win at Moldova while Portugal are second behind Norway after a 3-1 home win over Denmark.
Slovakia top their group despite losing 3-1 at Armenia, while Ireland lost at home to Russia in the same group, 3-2.
Wales remain pointless after losing at home to Bulgaria, 1-0, while Northern Ireland played out a scoreless draw with visitors Italy.
