NZ archery teams beaten

The New Zealand men's and women's archery teams have both been eliminated at the quarter-final stage of their compund competition at the Delhi Commonwealth Games.

In front of a big crowd the men's team were beaten on the last arrow by India, going down by a point.

The women were well beaten by England.

The only New Zealand archer remaining in competition is Shaun Teesdale, who will meet a Namibian opponent in the quarter-finals of the compound individual event on Saturday.
