New Zealand is guaranteed a Commonwealth Games medal in the men's four-thousand metre individual pursuit tonight, after cyclists Jesse Sergent and Sam Bewley qualified for the two medal rides.
Sergent qualified second fastest in the heats, and will ride for the gold medal, while Sam Bewley posted the fourth fastet time, and will ride for bronze.
The final races get underway at five-to-10 tonight.
