New Zealand's won two medals in the three-day eventing at the world equestrian games in Kentucky, thanks to a clear final round in the showjumping by the veteran Andrew Nicholson.
Nicholson secured the team bronze as well as individual bronze in the eventing on Nereo, his ride enough for New Zealand to leapfrog the United States into the medal positions.
Andrew Nicholson and Nereo's result also qualifies New Zealand for the London Olympics in 2012.
England won the team gold.
