St Kilda have lost their second AFL Grand Final in as many years, copping a massive 56-point hiding from Collingwood in the replayed decider in Melbourne.
A week after the drawn first final at the MCG, St Kilda had no answer to Collingwood - but St Kilda coach Ross Lyon remains defiant, claiming his men are far from a spent force and will draw strength from their latest failure.
Lyon admitted they may need reinforcements to challenge the top teams in the competition.
The 108-52 win for Collingwood comes nearly 20 years to the day since the Magpies' last premiership.
