The Australian batsman Mike Hussey hit an unbeaten 51 as his Indian team Chennai Super Kings crushed the South African side the Eastern Cape Warriors by eight wickets in the final of the Champions League Twenty20 tournament in South Africa.
Spin bowlers Ravichandran Ashwin and Muttiah Muralitharan set up the win as the Warriors were restricted to 128 for seven in their 20 overs.
The Chennai opening batsmen Hussey and Murali Vijay put on 103 for the first wicket before captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni hit the winning runs with just six balls to spare.
The win earned Chennai $NZ3.4 million and completed a notable double after they won the Indian Premier League earlier this year.
